Klein Medical History
Klein Medical was formed in 2002 to commercialise medical applications for a novel form of spectroscopy.
The initial research was focused on blood analysis.
This changed to drug verification in 2007.
By the end of 2009 the company was starting to get very encouraging results using its technology to verify a group of 30 common intravenous drugs and solutions.
Testing in 2010 with a new prototype supported earlier findings resulting in key hardware decisions for a commercial device.
In 2011 a proof of concept prototype was built incorporating this new hardware.
In early 2012 blind trials with the proof of concept prototype delivered successful results confirming the design direction of the patented solution.
Klein Medical continues to build on its success by refining the solution for market launch and pursuing a commercialisation strategy.
