Julian Williams is a shareholder in and non-executive member of Klein Medicals management team. Julian has recently retired as Technical Director of Fisher and Paykel Appliances, a publicly listed appliance manufacturer. Selected by Sir Woolf Fisher in the early 60’s to lead Fisher and Paykel's (F&P) technology development, Julian managed the company’s engineering efforts for 40 years to help create NZ’s only NZ$1billion revenue technology company.

Julian pioneered flexible manufacturing and was behind such successes as the highly innovative Smart Drive washer and DishDrawer dishwasher. Julian was behind the development of brushless motors that enabled Smart Drive and later DishDrawer, a modification of which powered the early Fisher and Paykel Healthcare sleep apnoea machines. Fisher and Paykel Healthcare was split off from Fisher and Paykel Appliances
